This hip-hop and rap culture exemplifies the emptiness of this society. Just watch a N. Furtado or Rihanna (can't stand them) video. Is this the world people want to follow?
Empty-headed people with worthless chains around their neck parading agressive faces with a compendium of swear words and "gangsta" language?

No wonder there is so much stupidity and ignorance in the world.

I'm obviously biased because I listen to New Age, Gothic Metal and Neo-Pagan Folk mostly. The words, the songs are a lot deeper. These singers are artists. I'm thinking of Faun, Elis, Enigma or Delerium. It takes them ages to bring forth their great music. A hip-hop singer follows superficial and redundant themes applying it all to nauseating background noise. It's no music. It's pure rubbish. And it's so sad that a vast majority of people listen to this real rubbish. We live in a stupid world, alas. I'm glad there are other people who share similar thoughts.

We must fight this horrible rubbish. And I'm 20, I'm not a 70yr old or so. I'm just fed up with what I see around.

I was listening to Ambeon and Rhea's Obsession today when suddenly I heard Rihanna in the background at the bus stop, you can't imagine how crystalclear the difference in quality was.

I hope this stupid fashion will end someday.

this is actually true fact that u have pulled up in this conversation. wht can i say u hv a brain man ... a song and music is always more than a sey of words spelled in a certain patern (patern ... as they caal it )im alead guitarist frm an metal band .im saying this not because of this but , wht made me to b a guitaris is this passion fr music (metal)b caus its depth in its lyrics n sound ..i knw hv hrad fr a metal musicisn to compose n creat the final product it somethimes take years .but with the computer music age, any shit bugger can do something call hiphop ..with in 2 r 3 hours .just set of word with out any mwaning .thats all they want.(actually they need some hot girls with naked bodies to b appear in the vedio b cus they knw unles no stupid buggers gonna buy them)accordin to one of my friend hiphop is all about "sex sels u buy"thats why the wast majority is listening to this rubbish .they r mortivated or mis guided by the sex.they r kind of mentaly ill.they just dont want to face the true reality in the world.
